Default Silver Character Models

Hello,
It seems like whenever there is a change to my character in game, or in character creation, my character reverts to a silver model that I makes it so that the hair on my characters head turns to a block, and all the clothes on my character is unseeable, I have to minimize and maximize the game to get back to what it originally was, if there is something i can do to permenantly stop this from happening, ide appreciate any ideas,
Thank you

It's a problem with the textures. Are you by any chance using Texmod? Texmod is horribly buggy, and will frequently screw up the texture handling. It's not dangerous in itself, and minimizing or zoning will clear it up, but it is annoying.

Then it's likely to be a driver issue. Check that you've got the most recent version of driver for your graphics card.

Post your system specs and what drivers you're using.

whats the ram on your graphics card ? Almost certain its an issue with the card not being quite up to par for the game. But pls post specs as Azagoth said and you will get better help.

I used to run the game at max with a Geforce FX5700 LE, and never had this issue, but i guess it varies from card to card.

As Azagoth said; Post your system specs, and it'll probably reveal itself.
